Customised Toyota Hiluxes in Antarctica
The Mary Arctica brought two customised Toyota Hiluxes to Antarctica. The 200 km trip back to the station was a good test for the vehicles. Kristof Soete, our chief mechanic and the "father" of those two babies, was grinning the whole time. I guess that means they passed the test!

The tracks allow this 4x4 to reach 50 km/h on ice or rock!

Each Hilux can carry up to 5 people and one ton of equipment. Expeditions in the field are going to be easier and more secure!
