Unloading equipment from the Basler used to connect to the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica from Novo Station.
Taking skidoos from the air strip 2 km from PEA to get the station.
During the winter a lot of snow accumulates around the station.
The team needs to spend a few days clearing snow away from the station at the start of each season.
After a few days, the space in front of the station is fully cleared and levelled, making it a useful place to park.
Look how clean and smooth that surface is!
The surface in front of the station is so smooth that we can play football on Sunday, our day off.
Everyone settles into a routine working at at PEA.
The snow-clearing process is coming along nicely.
What a beautiful view from the nunatak close to the station!
On December 4th, we were treated to a partial solar eclipse!
