Heading to PEA!
The first team of the 2022-23 season arrived at PEA at the end of November 2022.
While many veterans are used to the journey between Cape Town and the Princess Elisabeth Antarctica, it's always an interesting and magical epxeriecne for the first-timers!

The lead team takes a ride on a sledge towed by a skidoo from the air strip 2 km from the station. This has become something of a tradition. Welcome back everyone, the Princess says!
