Last module goes in

This picture gallery details the last module being added to the station. The station is now closed but there is still work to do before the team leaves Antarctica.

The station's side modules usually weigh 600 kg. However, windowed modules having a triple glazing can reach 900 kg.

The roof doors are positionned laterally, on either side of the station's roof. They allow the station's crew to reach the roof for solar panel maintenance.
