Implementing the Polar Secretariat
On Friday 21 November 2008, the Council of Ministers approved the draft of a royal decree related to the project that will regulate how the future Polar Secretariat is managed. Composed of an equal number of members from both the public and the private sectors (with the members from the private sector coming from the International Polar Foundation), the Polar Secretariat was created in order to manage financial, administrative and material matters related to the Princess Elisabeth Station.
